Former Rolling Stone music editor Mark Kemp wrote that if The Remains, a little-known group from New England, hadn鈥檛 broken up in 1966, 鈥渨e might today be calling them鈥攁nd not the Stones鈥攖he World鈥檚 Greatest Rock 鈥榥鈥� Roll Band.鈥� 鈥淎merica鈥檚 Lost Band鈥� captures The Remains鈥� return to Los Angeles 40 years after they last appeared there at Dodger Stadium opening for the Beatles.
